Azerbaijani FM, newly appointed Turkish counterpart talk over phone

Foreign Affairs Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, Report informs with reference to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry

Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated Hakan Fidan on his appointment as Turkish Foreign Minister and wished him success.

The Azerbaijani diplomat expressed confidence that joint efforts to develop multifaceted and strategic allied relations between the two countries, based on deep roots, common interests and values, will be further strengthened.

The ministers exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral relations of fraternal, friendly and strategic partnership, and regional issues.

Jeyhun Bayramov invited Hakan Fidan to visit Azerbaijan.

The new Turkish Foreign Minister thanked Jeyhun Bayramov for his congratulations and kind words and gladly accepted the invitation to visit Azerbaijan.
