The main difficulty is the presence of numerous mines set by Armenia in the liberated areas, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the eighth meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council in Istanbul.
Report informs that, according to the foreign minister, 33 people had been killed and 134 injured by landmines since the end of the war.
Bayramov added that demining and reconstructing the liberated territories is one of the main priorities of Azerbaijan, and the close participation of companies from friendly countries in this process is important.
