Azerbaijan, UK to hold next meeting of Joint Intergovernmental Commission

Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom are planning to convene the next meeting of their Joint Intergovernmental Commission (JIC) in the near future, the British Embassy in Azerbaijan said in a post on X, according to Report.

The embassy also noted in its post on X that the issue was discussed during talks held today between Jason Stockwood, the United Kingdom"s Minister of State for Investment, and Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan"s Minister of Economy.

"Building momentum for the Strategic Partnership and the Joint Intergovernmental Commission later this year. A productive discussion between UK Minister for Investment Lord Jason Stockwood and Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov on growing UK-Azerbaijan trade and economic cooperation," the post reads.
