Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan to hold Mother Nature event in 2026

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will jointly hold the international "Mother Nature" event from October 19 to November 30, 2026, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The initiative was discussed during a meeting in Turkmenistan between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.

The event will be hosted in Turkmenistan and jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

Organizers expect the initiative to further strengthen cooperation between the two foundations.

During the meeting, the sides also reviewed the development of bilateral relations, highlighting expanding cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
