Azerbaijan to host Caspian Sea high-level meeting

The 12th meeting of the High-Level Working Group (HLWG) on the Caspian Sea will be held in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The 11th HLWG meeting took place in Ashgabat from September 15 to 17.
Delegations from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan participated in the meeting, which was chaired by Turkmenistan's representative.
The parties continued discussions on the methodology for establishing straight baselines in the Caspian Sea. The event also included a review of Caspian Sea cooperation, five-party interactions, and preparations for future events at various levels.
The upcoming HLWG meeting will be held in Azerbaijan on dates to be agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
