Azerbaijan, Suriname ink agreement on partial visa exemption

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Surinamese counterpart Melvin Bouva on the margins of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Report informs.
"We reviewed ways to deepen political consultations, expand economic ties, and cooperate within multilateral platforms," Bayramov wrote on X.
During the meeting, the ministers signed the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Suriname on exemption from visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and service passports."
