Azerbaijan, Serbia to cooperate in food safety

Azerbaijan and Serbia will cooperate in the field of food safety under a newly approved bilateral agreement, according to a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev approving the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on cooperation in the field of food safety.

According to Report, the agreement was signed in Belgrade on February 15 this year.

Under the decree, the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency will be responsible for implementing the provisions of the agreement after it enters into force.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will notify the Serbian government once all necessary domestic procedures for the agreement's entry into force are completed.
