Azerbaijan's national statement read at UN meeting

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalcin Rafiyev has delivered a national statement today at the UNAOC Group of Friends High-Level Meeting during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Report informs.

The statement highlighted Azerbaijan's global initiatives aimed at promoting intercultural and interreligious dialogue, such as the Baku Process and Peace4Culture.

It also noted how Azerbaijan has integrated interreligious dialogue into the agenda of its COP29 presidency, including hosting the Global Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku on the sidelines of COP29.

The deputy minister also participated in the Annual Coordination Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States and the Annual Ministerial Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Landlocked Developing Countries.
