Azerbaijan, Greece discuss expanding cooperation in education

Azerbaijan and Greece have held discussions on strengthening cooperation between the two countries' universities, including the implementation of student exchange programs, the Embassy of Greece in Azerbaijan said in a post on X, Report informs.

It was noted that Greece's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Maria Papakonstantinou, met with Anar Naghiyev, Rector of Baku Slavic University.

During the meeting, the sides explored prospects for expanding collaboration between universities of both countries and the launch of exchange initiatives.

The importance of the Center for Greek Language and Culture, which has been operating at Baku Slavic University since 2004, for further strengthening the cultural and educational ties between Greece and Azerbaijan was also highlighted.
