Azerbaijan sends note to France

French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry, MFA told Report.
During the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan presented a protest note to the ambassador connected with the resolution "Protection of the Armenian people and the Christian communities of Europe and the East" adopted by the French National Assembly on December 3.
The French ambassador was informed about the document, which contradicts the norms and principles of international law, the UN Charter, the Helsinki Final Act, UN Security Council Resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 of 1993.
The French ambassador said that the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's position would be brought to the attention of Paris.
