Azerbaijan, France discuss causes of diplomatic tensions

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and France's newly appointed ambassador Sophie Lagoutte have exchanged views on the causes of the recent diplomatic crisis between the two countries.

According to Report, the discussion took place as Ambassador Lagoutte presented a copy of her credentials to the Azerbaijani minister.

Despite the existing challenges, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing mutual dialogue and discussions, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
