Azerbaijan and Brunei discuss cooperation in various fields

Azerbaijan and Brunei have discussed the development of relations between their parliaments.

According to Report, the talks took place during a meeting between Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Malaysia, Irfan Davudov, and Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, the Speaker of the Legislative Council of Brunei.

"The sides exchanged views on the further development of relations between the two countries' parliaments. In this regard, they emphasized that the creating of the friendship groups at the parliaments of both countries, as well as conducting the reciprocal visits and establishing close contacts between MPs would significantly contribute to expanding the bilateral ties," The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Malaysia said in a post on X.

In addition, Davudov also met with Asnawi Arbi Sharifuddin, the Director of the Department of International Organisations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the current level of bilateral and international cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brunei.
