Amy Carlon: 'I'm new to Azerbaijan, but I already feel at home here'

US Chargé d'Affaires in Baku Amy Carlon has expressed her desire to become more familiar with the history and culture of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

"I'm new to Azerbaijan, but I already feel at home here. The warmth and hospitality of the Azerbaijani people are truly invaluable. I look forward to getting to know this beautiful country, its regions, history, and traditions better," Carlon noted at the annual gala for Azerbaijani alumni of American universities.

She said organizing the alumni gala allowed her to get to know the people who are strengthening relations between Baku and Washington.

"Azerbaijani alumni of American universities help strengthen cooperation between the two countries. I'm sure you spoke about your country's rich culture during your studies in the United States," she added.
