Amount of aid sent by Azerbaijan to Türkiye announced

The amount of aid sent by Azerbaijan to the earthquake area in Türkiye has become known, Report informs.

Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci informed at a press conference today that 5,624 tents have been delivered from Azerbaijan to the earthquake region by trucks and planes:

"Some of them are tents for 30 people. In addition, 401 tons of medical supplies, more than 1,200 generators, 6,240 heaters, and 737 tons of food products were sent. Every sock and hat is important today."

Bagci also once again appealed to those who want to help the victims of the earthquake:

"I ask you not to send more clothes since many clothes have been collected and their distribution has started. Those willing to help can send more tents and generators."
