Amina Mohammed: UN grateful to Azerbaijan for significant contribution to WUF13

The UN expresses its gratitude to Azerbaijan, which made a tremendous contribution alongside UN-Habitat to the success of WUF13, stated Amina Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary-General, at the closing ceremony of WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.

"I would like to sincerely thank the government and people of Azerbaijan for their exceptional hospitality and leadership in hosting the 13th World Urban Forum here in Baku," Mohammed said.

She also thanked UN staff in Azerbaijan, UN-Habitat, and the entire UN system "for their unwavering dedication and professionalism, which played a key role in the success of this forum."
