"Shusha reminds me a bit of Switzerland," American tourist Angi Caveney, who visited the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, told Report.
"I really like our trip. We have been in Azerbaijan for five days. We spent one day in Baku, and today we visited the mud volcanoes. We also saw petroglyphs - it was very interesting," she said.
The tourist noted that visiting the city of Shusha became a particularly memorable part of the trip for her and her husband.
"To see something so rare is truly a unique experience. Not everyone gets such an opportunity. I hope that after our trip, more people will learn about this safe and beautiful place and want to visit it," she added.
Caveney emphasized that she was especially impressed by the new buildings and architecture of the city of Shusha.
"The new buildings are simply magnificent, and the architecture is striking. Shusha reminds me a bit of Switzerland. It is a wonderful place, and I hope you manage to attract even more tourists here," the American tourist said.
