Ambassador: Relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan are at historical peak

Today, the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan are at their highest peak in history, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün said at the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Brotherhood Forum, Report informs.

According to Akgun, the concept of "One nation, two states" is the most important path for the two countries today:

"This brotherhood is primarily desired by us, our peoples. The joint activities of Türkiye and Azerbaijan in today's global events are important. The two countries have very strong fundamental ties."

The ambassador noted that the July 15 events and the Kahramanmaras earthquake in Türkiye, as well as Azerbaijan's 44-day Patriotic War showed the greatest example of the two countries' support for each other:

"We want to highlight the role of media here as well. Some forces want and some do not want the brotherhood between the two countries. Therefore, the press should pay special attention to every opinion."
