Ambassador: Kyiv to expand co-op with Azerbaijan in humanitarian demining

Ukraine is grateful to Azerbaijan for providing a demining machine to Kyiv, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev told journalists, Report informs.

"We are currently grateful to Azerbaijan for the Revival-P demining machine, which is clearing some regions of Ukraine from mines. According to experts' opinions, it works efficiently," Husyev said.

He emphasized that this machine is being used in demining operations in the Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts.

The diplomat noted that Kyiv is actively working towards deepening cooperation between Ukraine's State Emergency Service and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

Husyev emphasized that Azerbaijan's experience is irreplaceable because the mines that sappers are fighting against in both Ukraine and Azerbaijan are the same.
