Ambassador Eldar Salimov meets with Iraqi general

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Iraq, Eldar Salimov, met with Major General Hussein Jasim Akiber, the head of the Cooperation Department of Iraq's Ministry of Internal Affairs, Report informs.

"I was pleased to meet with Major General Dr. Hussein Jasim Akiber, the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," Salimov wrote on X, adding that the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of security and joint action mechanisms was discussed during the meeting.
