Ambassador: Azerbaijani President will visit Belarus in first half of 2018

Baku. 28 December. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay a visit to Belarus in the first half of next year.

Report informs, Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Gennady Akhramovich told a news conference.

He positively assessed results of the past year on the issue of bilateral cooperation, noting positive progress in all areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.

"Our relations are characterized by a partnership nature, they are of a strategic nature. Mutually beneficial and respectful relations have been established between the countries", the ambassador said.

He added that in 2017, about 40 mutual visits of high political level took place.

The Ambassador also noted the high level of inter-parliamentary relations between the countries.
