Ambassador: Azerbaijan Minifootball team deserved victory

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Slovakia, Vusal Abdullayev, congratulated the national team on winning the European Minifootball Championship (2026 EMF Euro), Report informs.

The diplomat, in this post on X, highlighted the team's achievement in defeating Ukraine in the final to claim the European title for the second time.

"The team displayed a high level of play throughout the tournament and fully deserved this success," Abdullayev stressed.

He also congratulated the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation and its president, Orkhan Mammadov, as well as Azerbaijanis living in Slovakia, thanking them for their active support of the national team.

The ambassador wished Azerbaijan's team and the federation further victories and accomplishments.
