Ambassador: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are tandem that is largely capable of transforming the entire region

Azerbaijan fully restored its territorial integrity last year. Official Baku is focused only on constructiveness, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, said in an interview with Report.

"Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are the leaders of the region. Kazakhstan is the country with the largest economy in Central Asia, and Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus. Together, we occupy a strategic position in the center of Eurasia, on the opposite shores of the Caspian Sea. Both countries are led by experienced, visionary leaders," he noted.

"Using the formulation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as progressive nations, we look forward with confidence. I think that it is our strategic tandem that is largely capable of transforming the entire region."
