Speaking at the second meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Asadov noted that the region, located at the crossroads of East–West and North–South routes, holds significant importance for international transport and logistics:

"To use this potential more effectively, the development of transport connections and the expansion of transit opportunities must be among the main priorities. In this regard, the importance of the Middle Corridor should be emphasized. Recently, this route has become one of the most promising, safe, and reliable lines on Eurasia's transport map. Thanks to our joint efforts, transit shipments along the Middle Corridor have been steadily increasing. In 2025, this growth reached nearly 11% (5 million tons)."
