Ali Asadov mulls shipbuilding co-op with head of Damen Shipyards Group

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Arnout Damen, CEO of Damen Shipyards Group, Report informs referring to the Cabinet of Ministers.

At the meeting, the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Damen Shipyards Group was noted, and satisfaction was expressed with the company's participation in projects implemented in the country.

It was noted that further strengthening Azerbaijan's position as an international transport and logistics hub and its transit potential opens new opportunities for developing cooperation in shipbuilding and maritime transport.

During the meeting, prospects for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Damen Shipyards Group in shipbuilding, the implementation of modern maritime technologies, and other areas of mutual interest were discussed.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, participated in the meeting.
