Ali Asadov, Denys Shmyhal discuss prospects for Baku–Kyiv cooperation

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal to discuss bilateral cooperation between Baku and Kyiv.

According to Report, citing the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the Baku Energy Week.

During the discussions, the sides exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan–Ukraine relations, with particular focus on expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, energy, and humanitarian affairs.

The importance of humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine was also highlighted during the meeting. The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan"s support to the Ukrainian people and its contribution to the restoration of civilian infrastructure.
