Ali Ahmadov: Meeting in Washington - diplomatic victory for Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has demonstrated its military power to the world by restoring its territorial integrity, First Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Ali Ahmadov said at a special session of the parliament, Report informs.

He noted that the meeting in Washington and the agreements reached as a result are a diplomatic victory for Azerbaijan, the sole author of which is President Ilham Aliyev.

This is an indicator of both his authority in the international arena and his diplomatic and political thinking, the parliamentarian added.

Ahmadov also noted that in Washington, Azerbaijan received international guarantees for the implementation of the Zangazur Corridor project.

"I believe that the Zangazur Corridor will become a very important project in modern history. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is named after the national leader Heydar Aliyev, and the Zangazur Corridor will be named after Ilham Aliyev," Ahmadov added.
