Over 200 foreign nationals evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan in three hours— UPDATE-3

Between 18:00 and 21:00 on March 6, a total of 210 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan via the Astara border checkpoint.

According to Report"s Southern Bureau, two Azerbaijani diplomats were also evacuated during this period.

Additionally, evacuations included: 18 citizens of Russia (three diplomats), 31 from China, six from the United Kingdom, five from Canada, 24 from Pakistan, 30 from Tajikistan, one from Türkiye, three diplomats from Czech Republic, four from Uzbekistan, two from Cyprus, two from Belgium, six from Sri Lanka, 12 from Oman, one from Latvia, four from Kuwait, four from Bahrain, one from Switzerland, five from Iran, one from Egypt, one from Australia, one from Georgia, three from Finland, 10 from Congo, and 32 from Indonesia.

Another group of Chinese citizens has been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The evacuation involved 24 Chinese nationals who crossed into Azerbaijan through the Astara state border checkpoint.
