World Cup 2026: Türkiye beats US 3–2 in Group D finale

In the Group D third‑round match at the FIFA World Cup 2026, Türkiye overcame the United States with a 3–2 victory at the Los Angeles stadium, Report informs.

Arda Güler (10'), Barış Alper Yılmaz (31') and Kaan Ayhan (90+8') found the net for Türkiye, while Auston Trusty (3') and Sebastian Berhalter (49') scored for the Americans.

Despite the defeat, the US finished top of the group with 6 points and will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the playoff stage. Türkiye, having lost its first two matches, ended bottom of the group and exited the tournament.
