England international Jordan Henderson has sustained an injury following his team's 3–2 victory over Mexico in the 2026 World Cup Round of 16.
According to Report, the 36‑year‑old midfielder stumbled on advertising boards during the post‑match celebrations and fell on his arm, requiring him to leave the pitch on a stretcher.
Although Henderson did not play during the match itself, he received a yellow card in stoppage time (90+8 minutes) for protesting to the referee.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will conclude on July 19.
