UEFA approves video review for Champions League

Baku. 27 September. REPORT.AZ/ UEFA approved the use of the video assistant referees (VAR) system in the play-off stage of the Champions League in the 2019/2020 season.
Report informs that the respective decision was passed at the session of the UEFA Executive Committee. VAR system will also be used in UEFA's 2019 Super cup.
UEFA plans to use the system at the final stage of the EURO 2020 and Nations League in 2021, as well as following the group stage of the Europa League in the 2020/2021 season.
