SOCAR awards Nations League's best young player

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan has awarded 22-year-old midfielder of Ajax FC Frenkie de Jong as the best young player of the Nations League, Report informs.
SOCAR sponsors the competition which was held for the first time.
Bernardo Silva, midfielder of Portugal national team and Manchester City, was named the best player of the Nations League.
Notably, Frenkie de Jong received the award presented to him by SOCAR, one of the offical partners of UEFA Nations League, before the awarding of winners. SOCAR presented a similar award to Portuguese national team player Renato Sanchez during EURO-2016.
