Qarabag to face Benfica in UCL league phase opener tonight

Azerbaijani champions Qarabag FK will play their first match in the UEFA Champions League league phase today.

According to Report, the team, managed by Gurban Gurbanov, will face Portugal's Benfica in an away match.

The match will take place at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon and will kick off at 23:00 Baku time (GMT+4). The game will be officiated by Belgian FIFA referee Erik Lambrechts.

Qarabag will host Denmark's FC Copenhagen in their second match on October 1 in Baku.
