Qarabag advance to Europa League second qualifying round

In the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round, Azerbaijan's Qarabag FK defeated Iceland's Vestri to secure a place in the next stage.

According to Report, the return match at Torfnesvöllur Stadium (known as Kerecisvöllurinn) in Reykjavik ended with a 3–0 victory for Qarabağ.

Goals were scored by Jali Muaddib (5'), Pedro Bicalho (29'), and Zakaria Sawo (57').

Having already won the first leg 3–0, Qarabağ progressed to the second qualifying round with a 6–0 aggregate score.

The team, led by Gurban Gurbanov, will face CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria) next. The first leg is scheduled for July 23 in Baku.
