PSG fined €150,000 over pitch condition at Parc des Princes

The French Professional Football League (LFP) has fined Paris Saint-Germain €150,000 for the poor condition of the pitch at Parc des Princes.
According to Report, the decision was issued by the LFP disciplinary committee.
Due to problems with the pitch, the Ligue 1 opening-round match between PSG and Rennes was urgently moved to the Breton club"s stadium.
The disciplinary committee imposed the sanction under an article of the regulations governing pitch quality requirements and the availability of a backup stadium.
The return fixture between the teams in the 23rd round will be played in Paris. Rennes is considering appealing the decision to move the first match to the French National Olympic and Sports Committee.
