Maciej Rybus, who plays for the Russian side Spartak (Moscow), has been expelled from the Polish national team.
The reason was that the 33-year-old defender continued to play for the Moscow team, Report informs, citing the official website of the Polish Football Association.
The head coach of the national team, Cheslav Mikhnevich, met with the experienced player after the last training camp of the team and said that he would not send him an invitation in the upcoming matches due to the political situation in Ukraine. Rybus will not be able to participate in this year's World Cup in Qatar either.
Maciej Rybus was transferred from Lokomotiv Moscow to Spartak on June 11.
