Named final list of cities bidding to host opening game of EURO 2020

Baku. 28 November. REPORT.AZ/ The final list of cities bidding to host the opening game of Euro 2020 named.

Report informs referring to the UEFA official website, five cities are in the running to host the match.

They are Amsterdam (Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium), Glasgow (Scotland), Rome (Italy) and St.Petersburg (Russia). The UEFA Executive Committee will announce the winning city on December 7. The meeting scheduled for the same date will also review the issue of holding continent championship games in Brussels.

Euro 2020 will be held for the first time in 13 European cities on 12 June-12 July. Besides Baku, London (England), Munich (Germany), St.Petersburg (Russia), Rome (Italy), Copenhagen (Denmark), Bucharest (Romania), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Dublin (Ireland), Bilbao (Spain), Budapest (Hungary), Brussels (Belgium) and Glasgow (Scotland) will host the European championship. 

Semifinal and final will be held in London.

Three matches of the group match and one match of ¼ final will be held at Baku Olympic Stadium (BOS).
