Elshad Guliyev: European Championship only starts now for Azerbaijan

For Azerbaijan's national minifootball team, competing at the European Championship, the tournament is only just beginning.

Report's correspondent dispatched to Bratislava informs that Elshad Guliyev, head coach of Azerbaijan's national minifootball team, said this at a press conference.

The specialist shared his thoughts after the team's 3-2 win over France in the group stage of the European Championship in Slovakia:

"The tournament starts for us from now on. We saw our mistakes in today's match. We will work on ourselves so as not to repeat them. I congratulate my players. We will analyze our opponent in the playoffs and try to prepare better. Our match against Kazakhstan will be difficult. We intend to win and continue our journey."

Azerbaijan beat Austria 1-0, Italy 3-0 and France 3-2 in the group stage. The team coached by Guliyev will face Kazakhstan in the last 16.
