Defender of Azerbaijani national team: We’ll play deserving our team

Baku. 22 May. REPORT.AZ/ "We will do our best in upcoming friendly matches".

Player of Azerbaijani national team, Gara Garayev told Report while commenting on friendly matches with Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Latvia.

The 26-year-old midfielder said that  the time has come for the national team to demonstrate its own style of play: "We need to do something. I consider that upcoming friendly matches will be a good experience before the League of Nations. We will play deserving our team".

Garayev shared his views on the UEFA Nations League which will start in September: "Many people think that the League of Nations will be easy, but I would not say so. Contrary, I consider that it will be very difficult. We will try to do our best to achieve success at the national team level" .

Notably, Azerbaijan national team which will play with Kyrgyzstan on May 29 at Baku Olympic Stadium, will be guest of Kazakhstan on June 5 in Astana and Latvia on June 9 in Riga.
