Azerbaijan progresses in UEFA ranking

Baku. 15 August. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan has progressed by one level in UEFA rankings.

Report informs, the reason was Qarabag’s draw with 1:1 score against BATE in Belarus in the Champions League III qualifying round. The Aghdam club, which had 0.125 score according to the draw recorded in Barysaw, has raised the country's scores to 18,250.

As a result, Azerbaijan ranked 24th prevailing Israel. 0.250 points  are  given for the victory, while 0.125 for the draw in Euro Cups.

Notably, Qarabag which lost first game with 0:1 score against BATE held in Baku bid farewell to Champions League. Aghdam representative will play with the winner of Sheriff (Moldova) - Valur (Iceland) game in play-off round of European League.
