Azerbaijan Cup final to be held in Ganja for first time

The Azerbaijan Cup final will be held at the Ganja City Stadium for the first time in the history of the competition, Professional Football League (PFL) President Elkhan Samadov announced on Facebook, Report informs.

He said the news would be welcomed by football fans.

"At the proposal of the Professional Football League and by decision of AFFA President Rovshan Najaf, the Azerbaijan Cup final will be held at Ganja City Stadium for the first time in the history of Azerbaijani football. I express my deep gratitude to Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov for his support in this matter. See you at a historic match in a historic venue," the PFL president wrote.

According to the schedule, the Azerbaijan Cup final is set to take place on May 12, 2027.
