AFFA will pay compensation to the judges, who have been working since the summer of 2019, over the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Chairman of AFFA Referees Committee Fritz Stuchlik said at a press conference, Report says.
According to him, even the referees who have not managed a game since that time will be compensated. “The postponement of the championships is beyond their control,” he added.
“The state provides support for them due to the situation, meaning that all who pay taxes and receive an award from the football association benefit from it,” Stuchlik added.
The championships in Azerbaijan were suspended on March 13.
