Baku. 17 October. REPORT.AZ/ Because of weakening of the lending process in Azerbaijan, it is natural that commercial banks' interest incomes are decreasing.
Report informs, Head of Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) Zakir Nuriyev told reporters.
However, according to him, interest income and interest expenses are declining in parallel, as profitability of the funds attracted by banks, including savings, shrinks: "I think that by this year end and in 2018, credit activity in Azerbaijan will increase again and the gap will be filled".
