Ukraine’s negative balance from foreign trade turnover reaches $5B

Baku. 17 October. REPORT.AZ/ In January-August 2018, Ukraine’s negative balance from foreign trade turnover amounted to $5.004 billion, up 45.7% from the previous year, said Ukrainian State Statistical Service, Report informs citing Russian media.
Moreover, Ukraine’s export increased by 12.4% to $30.911 billion during eight months, import by 16.1% to $35.915 billion.
$284 million of the negative balance was recorded in January, $457 million in February, $460 million in March, $222 million in April, $632 million in May, $603 million in June, $1.406 billion in July and $940 million in August.
