Taleh Kazimov: Transition to green growth in Azerbaijan is main goal of dev’t strategy in financial sector

The transition to green growth in Azerbaijan is the main goal of the development strategy of the financial sector, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov at the event titled "Raising Ambition, Delivering Action: COP29 Sustainable Business Forum", Report informs.

Furthermore, a strategic roadmap for sustainable finance has been prepared, according to him.

"The fight against climate change is one of Azerbaijan's strategic goals. Azerbaijan, like other world countries, faces challenges related to climate change. This year is a significant year for us. It is important to hold the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan,” Kazimov said.
