Switzerland blocks Russian holdings worth over $8 billion

Switzerland, which supported the EU sanctions against Russia, has blocked Russian assets in the amount of 7.5 billion francs (more than $8 billion), Deputy Head of Communications and Media Spokesperson Fabian Maienfisch told TASS, Report informs.
"Yes, this is true," he said when asked if he could confirm the report that Switzerland was blocking Russian assets.
