Structure of tax revenues in Azerbaijan for last year revealed

Income tax accounted for the majority of Azerbaijan's tax revenues in 2024, Report informs referring to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
In 2024, income tax accounted for 42.9% of total tax revenues, value-added tax (VAT) accounted for 27.1%, personal income tax accounted for 11.6%, excise tax accounted for 8.5%, simplified tax accounted for 2.4%, property tax accounted for 2.1%, state duty accounted for 1.9%, and other taxes accounted for 3.5%.
In the structure of tax revenues in the non-oil and gas sector in 2024, 31.3% was made up of profit tax, 35.4% of VAT, 16.7% of personal income tax, 6.1% of excise tax, 3.5% of simplified tax, 2.8% of state duty, 2% of property tax, and 2.2% of other taxes.
