Strengthening role of Azerbaijani fintechs in payment services market discussed in CBA

Strengthening the role of fintechs in Azerbaijan’s payment services market has been discussed in the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov wrote on X, Report informs.

“Our next meeting was held at the CBA with representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association. We discussed ongoing reforms towards the development of the payment services market, as well as the development of connections between organizations represented in the fintech ecosystem and other financial institutions. We talked about strengthening the role of fintechs in the payment services market, introducing new payment solutions and expanding digital payments. We also exchanged views on the current state and prospects of the fintech sector,” he wrote.
