Sahil Babayev: Baku event to help shape BSTDB's future priorities

Baku event will contribute to shaping the future priorities of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Azerbaijani Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said at the 28th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Report informs.

According to him, holding the 28th annual meeting of the BSTDB Board of Governors in Baku demonstrates Azerbaijan's strong cooperation with the bank, as well as its commitment to regional partnership, integration, and sustainable development: "We are pleased to host this important meeting and are confident that the discussions held here will contribute to determining the bank's future operational priorities and further strengthening its role in the Black Sea region. The BSTDB's annual report for 2025 shows that the Black Sea region has maintained its resilience against the backdrop of global uncertainties. According to the report, in 2025 the regional economy grew by 2.9%, and sound macroeconomic indicators were generally preserved in member countries."
