Rich Americans underpay $163 billion in taxes each year, Report informs, citing foreign media outlets.
The difference between taxes that citizens had to pay and the collected amount is $600 billion. Over the next decade, this figure is estimated to reach $7 trillion in total.
The United States plans to invest $80 billion to modernize the Internal Revenue Service to combat tax evaders. This measure alone should help increase tax collection by $320 billion over the next ten years.
