Overdue loans exceed 719M manats in Azerbaijan

As of July 1, 2026, the volume of overdue loans in Azerbaijan amounted to 719.4 million manats (approximately $423.2 million), marking a 13.2% increase compared to June 1, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the amount of these loans for the reporting period grew by 37.1% compared to the beginning of the year and by 36.4% year-on-year.
By the end of June 2026, overdue loans accounted for 2.1% of Azerbaijan's total loan portfolio. This ratio stood at 1.9% at the end of May 2026, 1.6% at the end of 2025, and 1.7% in June 2025.
